Jim is the Principal owner of Lean Biologix with over 25 years of experience working with Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Biotechnology manufacturers. He is an Engineer who is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt from the ASQ. Jim has been practicing lean principles his whole career on a diverse range of projects. Jim’s experience and training enable him to innately identify areas of waste and opportunities for improvement. Jim enjoys golfing, skiing, and spending time with his family.
Wae has over 8 years of Mechanical Engineering experience in the Biotechnology industry and has been with LBX since its founding days. Wae’s advanced depth of knowledge working with manufacturing equipment in a GMP environment enables him to have an immediate impact to any team looking to improve their manufacturing process, reducing down-time or risk. Wae has managed projects ranging from critical spare parts analyses and risk reduction to support and improve packaging operations. Wae is a real team player and is very focused on getting the job done right the first time. Wae is fluent in Cantonese and has enjoyed extensive travel in China.
Mike has been with LBX for over 5 years and obtained his Masters from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy within that time. Mike is a senior member of the team and has led multiple projects. Mike has extensive knowledge in validation and possesses qualifications across a wide range of equipment and processes within biotechnology. Mike’s professional manner and attention to details is enhanced by his gregarious personality and friendly demeanor. When Mike is on the project you can rest assured everything is under control and moving forward. Mike enjoys traveling and lives with his wife in the bustling north end of Boston.
Paul has been with Lean Biologix for over 4 years. Paul has brought his keen mind and problem solving skills from day one. Paul holds a Masters Degree in Electromechanical Engineering and is proficient in multiple programming languages. Paul is a very curious person with a drive to learn new things and take solutions to the next level. One thing we can say about Paul is that he is not satisfied with “close enough”. His skills in effectively breaking down a problem to its root and providing an answer is astounding. Paul enjoys board games and puzzles of all types.
Josh started with LBX January of 2013 and has over 3 years of experience working in various areas of the biotech industry. Josh’s experience ranges from validation and packaging qualification to IT system data migration. He is an advanced user of a variety of software applications and has programming experience with VBA. Josh is a great fit in any testing or other data driven positions. Josh is an active board game and soccer enthusiast and enjoys creating customized parts and figures with his 3D printer.
Evan Bilis is a new addition to the team and has been with Lean Biologix for over a year. In coming to LBX, Evan brought not only his Engineering skills but his experience working at other FDA regulated companies. As a member of the Lean Biologix team, Evan has worked on a variety of projects, from IT system upgrades to management of introduction of new custom applications for our clients. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Electromechanical Engineering and has a passion for learning new skills. Evan enjoys his time the most when sitting down, relaxing, and reading a book.
Lorenzo joined the LBX Team in September 2014. He brought his computer science background and education to collaborate and support the engineering group. Lorenzo’s work is routinely relied upon to automate mundane tasks associated with almost any project, cutting lead-times and eliminating any potential room for errors. He has experience with a breadth of programming languages including VB, VBA, Python, Django and .NET. His energetic personality is infectious and keeps the team on the cutting edge of the IT world. Although he has lived in the US most of his life, Lorenzo recently obtained his US citizenship. He enjoys travel, roller coasters, video game programming, and having a good laugh.
